A LITTLE HELP, RIGHT HERE

Let's get your file moving.

Start with a copy of your document. TableFix works in this browser tab, so the quickest fix is often a smaller file, a clearer image or a setting that better matches the result you need.

Opening and processing files

Why is the tool asking for a password?

An encrypted PDF needs its current opening password. Enter it in Current password and use Open preview. Unlock PDF removes a password you already know; it does not guess or recover a forgotten password. There is no TableFix account password.

A large file is slow or the tab closes

PDF tools accept up to 50 MB per file and 200 MB per selection, with up to 100 files. The table reader accepts up to 20 MB. These are selection limits, not a promise that every device can process that much data. Close other demanding tabs, try fewer pages or work with a smaller copy. Keep the tool's tab open while it processes.

My document format is not accepted

Check the types listed beside Choose file. Office conversion supports DOCX, PPTX and XLSX where indicated, rather than older DOC, PPT or XLS files. The image tools accept JPG, PNG and WebP. Changing a filename extension does not convert the file.

Getting a cleaner table

The text is right but the columns are wrong

Crop around one table. Move the blue column dividers, or change Columns, then click Apply. Arrange the layout before editing cells because Apply rebuilds the table from the recognized text. Use the photo-to-Excel guide for an example.

Some text is missing or an amount is wrong

Use a straight, evenly lit image. Select the correct reading mode for printed English tables or English handwriting. Compare every amount with the source, including empty cells. Handwritten values are flagged for review; a highlight is not an accuracy guarantee. Sinhala, Tamil and mixed-language handwriting are not reliably supported.

Saving and checking the result

Where is my file?

For PDF tools, processing creates a Download link; click it to save. In the table reader, use Prepare Excel or Prepare CSV, then the matching Save link. Your browser chooses the download folder or asks you where to save. The website cannot browse your downloads folder.

The result link disappeared

Changing a source file or a setting can replace the prepared result. Prepare it again and save it before refreshing or closing the tab. TableFix does not keep a server copy to restore later.

The result looks different from the original

Some conversions extract text; others rebuild pages as images. Read the tool note and the conversion-format comparison before choosing another output. For an unchanged original layout, keep the source document and check whether its original application can export the format you need.

Privacy and safe sharing

You do not need to send a document to anyone to use these tools. Avoid putting passwords, private document contents or personal data into public feedback. Read how TableFix handles files, and use the redaction guide if you need to remove information before sharing an exported PDF.
